A quick note about R-22 Freon:
Did you know that as of January 1, 2020 R-22 Freon will no longer be produced? The EPA is phasing out production of hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HFCFC) refrigerants, like R-22. Anything currently on the market, or reclaimed, will still be available. However, this restriction if going to create price instability and eventually become unobtainable. If you’re current central air unit is 10 years or older, then in the next few years you will need to have that unit replaced with a unit that uses the newer, more environmentally friendly 410A refrigerant
