HEPA Air Cleaners
Air cleaners install on air duct returns and pulls in a portion of the air through a HEPA filter. This filter can treat all the air in a 2000 sq. ft. space in an hour, and can effectively remove up to 99% of particles that are as small as .03 microns. HEPA air cleaners come in two categories: mechanical and electronic filters.
Mechanical Filters
Mechanical filters act like screens that capture air pollutants in a filter. These filters have to be replaced regularly, to stay effective. Most homes use a flat, 1-inch, fiberglass mesh filter as a default air cleaner.
Electric Filters
An electronic filter generates an electronic discharge that causes pollutants to gather onto a set of plates on the air purifier. These plates can be pulled from the filter, cleaned, and then reused.
Here are some (not so) fun facts about the air you breathe
• The average person inhales over 3500 gallons of air every day
• 1 oz. of dust can contain over 40,000 dust mites
• The average person sheds up to 700,000 skin flakes every day
• 10-15% of Americans are allergic to pet dander
Moisture Control
Controlling moisture in your air system has a significant effect on indoor air quality. Humidifiers and dehumidifiers are the tools you need in order to control moisture.
Humidifiers
Humidifiers are used in during the cold season to add moisture to the warm air your system provides Humidifiers come in two types: steam humidifiers and bypass humidifiers.
A steam humidifier convert’s water to steam that joins with the air distributed by your central air unit.
A bypass humidifier passes warm air through a water tray, and as the warm passes it accumulates moisture naturally.
Dehumidifiers
An electronic filter generates an electronic discharge that causes pollutants to gather onto a set of plates on the air purifier. These plates can be pulled from the filter, cleaned, and then reused.
Ultraviolet Light Treatments
Ultraviolet light treatments have been shown to significantly reduce bacteria and viruses in your HVAC unit. Ultraviolet Germicidal Light helps to eliminate viral and bacterial infections and is beneficial to people who suffer from asthma or other respiratory sensitive ailments.

Travis and his team of technicians are polite, knowledgeable, and most important, honest professionals. While looking at installing a new system, they continued their analysis and found the problem to be a defective valve. Lots cheaper than a new system.. We will continue our association with Delta-T and recommend them to anyone needing Cooling or Heating professionals.
